World equilibrium

I used to think that those who suffer from depression, obesity or any type of ill associated with our life style were not actually suffering from anything. They became ill due to their psychological weakness, or their laziness. But is it really a truth? Yes, it might be a true if we compare to people those who are suffering from war, famine or poverty. But I think those who are living modern society might have new aspects to suffer from. It is like a loyal family and normal citizen. Royal family may appear as gorgeous and having not to worry anything. However, because they live from totally different world from us, they suffer from something that may anyone of us even ever come across in our lives. Do you feel guilty? Well, you don’t have to feel guilty. Everyone deserves to be happy and we should not quit our daily happy lives in order to help someone. But, since everyone deserve to happy, any people should live healthy and happily and if we could help people by sharing our little happiness, we should do so.

Work to live or live to work

Friday-every one rush to home to play with thier children, or to go out with your lover, or hit the couch with your batt.
It sometimes makes me feel odd, because If I have a opprtunity to get a job, I would love to work as much as I can.
In years ago, a Japanese engeneer complained about company's policy towards his invention of blue diord.
He said that he deserve more money and he looked ferious about not getting money as much as he want.
By the time I heared this news, I was simply sad. Why company make him do this?f Futhermore, why such a sccessful engeneer chose to fight for monetary issue?
If I were him, I may bring an agument but I will be satisfied if only people recognise my work. Doesn't it enough?
But what if i have a family? Prehaps my opinion will change. For now, I would like to be grateful for my job and want to be proud of myself as a worker.

The pen is mightier than sword

Today, it rain a little. I like smell of rain; especially after the rain, because air became clear.
I was thinking about education. I think most important thing in our society is an education, especially in childhood.

When I was back in highschool, I met a social teacher who are Japanese. She teaches highschool students while she goes to SFU. I took a couple of her class and I felt little board not due to material she taught us, but way she teaches. She was too nurvose. Some Canadian students said that she made grammerl mistakes and posunciation mistakes. But, since they know there are mistakes, why is he even border indicate her mistakes? Also, I think she can make mistakes since she is not Canada-born teacher. I think most important thing is learn something unique from her background instead of making generalization about her.

By the way, I found the "word" in the "sword". Now I really understand the meaning of "The pen is mightier than the sword".

30 going on 13?

Women( girls) grow up three times as fast as men do. However, so women just stays as they are in childhood. Some 30 year-old women acts like a 13 year-old. I was typical 13 year-old, yet hadn't date with anyone; but yes, I had a boy I liked.
Well, prehaps I was not brave enough or stupid enough to hanging out with boys.
I am not saying that it is weist of time dating boys, but is it really a beneficial to date with whoever?

Some women questioned "Why don't we learn or get anything from previous relationship?" I believe that because some women don't try to learn anthing but have fun just like men do with women. If you really want to learn from your relationship, you should make an effort to do so, instead of just hanging around and weit untill something to happen. It prehaps O.K. to have fun with boys when you are 13, but it may be is a time to change your prospective if you are 30 and acting like 13 year-old. But, don't forget. Women always should not forget curiosty and youthful zest.

Woman marries agry, smart man; What about men?

Some woman marries to agry, but smart men while mant men marries beautiful womwn without any sence of inteligense; why is that?
I believe most men chose women at first sight. If you are besutifull and respectfull woman, boom! you are merried.
Well, then why most women chose men not their appearence but inside? Of course women love an attractive men; however, attractive men often ended up as "just for fun but not fiance". Is it because women relay on men?
Sure, it may be true fur some cases, but it not necessary to be true all the time.

Today, I sent the e-mail to my Gardian. She used to be my Gardian not any more.
I asked about her to have money buck from my host family, because I over paid them.
My Gardian said that "Is it better to let it go."

I thought so too, I wish I could forget about them. But if I accept over paid money, doesn't it mean that I accept to be a thief?

My gardian thinks i am sick as my host family asked me to pay money buck. Maybe I am. That's why I had to leave that house.

It was my fault.

But I can't let that happen again. Thing happens to teach me something. Didn't I lern anything from that exept being sorry myself?

I sould move on. i felt so sad and dissapointed myself. I can not continue goot relationship to anyone.
They dissapointed too.
I should not let anyone down anymore. Be honest, kind and strong.
I don't wantn to hart anone. But maybe I have hurt so many people without noticing.
I have to move on.

A life not lived.

The long untrimmed grass in a never ending field is where she sat reminiscing. She had never been able to breath that fresh air. For once she could just sit and take long deep breaths enjoying the cool but not cold air as it went in and out of her lungs. Like a wild lion set free in an African safari, she looked over her life. The sight was splendid, optimistic and hopeful. She could touch anything, like a child who has just learned how to craw and was free to touch and explore anything in their path. The taste that overcome her at that moment was the taste of freshly squeezed orange juice , the free feeling starts you off in the morning, and keeps you going through the whole day. Just like the toddler is ready t leave her immobile life for a life filled with uncut, untrimmed desires. Since the new change in her life, the sky was the limit.

Love untold.

I've created the story! Check this out.

The young women stood outside her fiances dorm room eagerly anticipating his return. Although she didn't know where he had gone in the middle of the night she certainly had speculation. Her face was overwhelmed by anger and her blue defined hurt misery and broken passion. " I just don't fell the same way about you." Were the words uttered by her fiance and she couldn't get them out of her mind. She still loved him. Suddenly she heard the the faint ring of an elevator being called to the service of the desired floor. It must be him she thought, she felt her heart rapidly increasing thumbs and she mentally prepared herself for the emotional stress that was to follow. He turned the corner.

"Suzy, what are you doing here?"
"The question is what is it that YOU were doing?"
" I went to grab a cup of coffee in the cafe."
" Joe, do you take me for a fool? I know what you're doing!"
" I can' t believe you don't trust me enough to let me do my own thing!"

He opened his dorm door and pushing her aside., he walked in. She followed him inside allowing there to be some distance between them. " Sit down." he said with a forceful tone tat she was too familiar with.
He knew that hid felling that were once filled with passion and infatuation had resisted and slowly tuned into something that even he could not call that love. He wanted her around because it was easy that way although their love has gone sour, she was still convenient to have around. He didn't want the process of breaking up. and this was the feeling that he grew how comfortable with.
"Listen baby, you know love me and I love you."
"Yes I know that you love mw and I love you too."
"Yes, I love you, and that's how this conversation will end"
She looked up him, tried to read his mind. But all she can figure out was scent of perfume as turns around and stars walk.

to be continued....(perhaps!)

How Do Greetings Differ Around the World?

There is a range of different greetings around the world, fom a simple "hello", a hadshake , a kiss, or a bow, to sticking out your tongue in Tibet!!But how you shake someone's hand in one country may differ from the custom in another. In some countries you kiss as a greeting. But how many times do you kiss? Which cheek so you start wth? In which countries do you bow? Here are some examples of greetings from few parts of the world.
A bow is a light handshake with eyes averted is the usual greeting in most Asian cultures where people do not like to have body contact when greeting. In China and Taiwan, shaking hands is customary, but people often not their hands or give a slight bow as well. The Chinese like to applaud, and a visitor may be greeted with a group of people clapping their hands. When you are applauded, you must return the applause or say thank you.

Bow is the traditional form of greeting in Japan, also in Korea. people in the Philippines are much more touch- oriented than those in other Asian cultures. Here, handshaking is a common custom, with both men and women shaking hands in a friendly fashion. Filipinos may also greet each other with a quick flick of the eyebrows.

In Malaysia, people greet each other saying, "Where are you going?" But this is not really a question. he polite answer is, " Just for a walk." In India, people greet each other with " Namaste." As they say this, they bend or nod and out their palms together as though they are playing.
European greetings very from shaking hands to kissing. In Britain, they do not like physical contact as much American culture do. So, they opt for the handshake. Germany follows the same rules as Britain. I France, however, kissing i the rule. In most places, a two-kiss greeting is polite, but in Paris, the greeting is four kisses, starting with the left cheek. In Brittany, there is a three-kiss greeting, and in most other parts of France it is a two-kiss greeting. Greetings in

Senegal take the form of handshakes, and they are even more significant there. In Senegal, a person will stop doing something really important to spend ten minutes greeting a person that he or she has seen n hour ago. This is to acknowledge the existence of another human being and hour ago. This is to acknowledge the existence of another human being and is seen as a priolity in Senegalese culture. Every member of the community greets every other member, regardless of status or wealth.

Some culture have variations on these common greetings. For example, The Inuit of North America traditionally used the knuik in place of he kiss. The kunik involves placing noses next to each other and lightly rubbing or sniffing. Most Inuit now use their lips to kiss, but the kunik is sometimes still used with chldlen. Though most New Zealanders use a handshake when greeting, the tradition of the native Maori people is to press noses together to show trust and closeness.

Of course, these are only a few of the greetings used around the world. There are even more variations in other countries. Leaning about these customs not only makes us more polite travelers, but also gives us insight into the differences between people around theworld, as well as an understanding of each country's special values.

Misconception

Things are not always what they seem to be. O the surface of an ocean there is a storm but under the water its calm with the gentle rocking of the current. Everytihng is judge at first glance whether we like it or not. This is often the misconception of love.

My experience with love has been bittersweet. I spent four years of my life with someone I adored, through the eyes of other they saw perfection and envied its qualties. What they failed to see is nothing perfect. When you forget to think about yourself and put your emotional needs first, You've become unhealthy.

To the world you may just be one person out of the billions of its inhabitants but everyone is able to find someone. Its one of life's greatest searches, It takes time and many lessons are leatned through the process. When the "right" person is finally found, it may not last forever. Divorce is a lot more common these days especially in order aged couples. Those one the couples that put their family first and eachother second. It leaves a big empty void and the couples forget about what they once loved each other for.

Loss of communication defines a bad relationship simply because, if your voice is not heard then nothing can reach a compromise. Yu can struggle to keep the ralationship going but emotions will flare.

Meaning the world to one person person is the point in the relationship where nothing seems to matter but each other. Fun is always being had and you cannot take your hands off eachother. With this slage through, a lot of peola fail to recognize their responsibilities and other commitments that they previously had. Friends start to feel ignores and same might be lost. By constantly being out you drift aeay from your family and communication is kept to a mare minimum. Sometimes you put your partners needs before your own and your own self person is being ignores. It requires a careful balance.

Love can be good or bad, What your definition of love is and what it means to you will be the basis n how well your love life will be. key things that everyone seemes to forget in a relationship of yourself mentally. This is such a simple conclusion on how to have a good love life yet people till suffer in relationships where they and get nothing in return.
When you finally do meet that person that you mean the world to and the feeling are the same, it is a special thing. You'v met someone in this world that you can love and be with for as long as you live. make sure you've happy and your needs are being met and suddenly you do not feel so small to the world.

Our Future

The myriad variety of moral issues today to real changes in the near future.

The issue of judicial independence, and therefore the powers of gobvernment over their citizens is an issue which is expected to be resolved in the future. Currenrly many democratic governments are attmpting to undermine the "check and Balance" system utilized by most nations. This system involves two factions which work to ensure hat the needs of citizens are met. The executive is elected by the people directry, and has the most widespread influence on society. The judiciary involves the preservation of the constitution, which ensures the regardless of political overcome the judiciary, democracy can become corrupt and ultimately fall into totalitarian dictatorship. Specifically, in Canada, various specifically, in Canada, various officials in the government have successfully undermined the manner by which judges are appointed. Normally, collaboration between layers, ministers, and judges selects members of the lawyer and law enforcement fields to become judges. The present administration has a " Tough on Crime" approach, witch is mirrored by law enforcement detachments. thus, by allowing law enforcement officers to choose who the judges are, the government is giving itself the ability to influence what type of person takes the post. In the near future, this could result in repercussions in all aspects of law and order in Canada, and other nations in similar predicaments.

As a result, one could easily foresee punishments such as the death sentence being instated in Canada. As mentioned before, the political pressure for a " Tough on Crime" approach is beginning to seep into the judiciary. However, an economic pressure id evident as well. For every male prisoner in Canada, it costs $ 62,000 every year on average. Even worse, every female costs $155,000 ( an increase of several thousand from last year). Canada's lenient laws ensure that only the most heinous offenders see prison for more than a year, Most of our long- term prisoners (prisoners who serve over two years) would have been executed under American court system. This results in increased support for a " social justice" ideology in which the harm to society over weights the offender's rights., resulting support for death sentencing.

Furthermore, the economic repercussions resulting from our current system effect our governments ' viewpoint on euthanasia, For our prison system , it costs 2 billion dollars more is spent in indirect health care funding). Many of the patients that this funding goes towards have small chances for life, and would rather die. Some of the most expensive treatments, such as cancer, have also the lowest radio of successful patients. Many of these patients would rather opt for Euthanasia than suffer through the treatment. Furthermore, society, many say, would benefit from the increased funds available if this option was allocated to patients,. The moral issue, however ,still remainds. Another faction argues that this would allow for social Darwinidm to prevail, in which only the healthy as well.Euthanasia may become a iable option used by the government as a resoult of the economic and spcial pressures of present day issues.

A vast quantiry of current isued os morality affect the path the future will take.

( congratulation if you really are WOMEN!)

Conclusion

Not all feminists appealed “Woman is good, man is bad”. Some just wanted to be equal to the men. So, some draw beauty of women in the picture, some told strength of women in literature.

Margaret Atwood

Atwood's theme of poem is often known as
“feminism” although some people find the
poem has a sexual meaning. For example,
the poem “You Fit Into Me” by Margaret Atwood

"You fit into me
like a hook into an eye
A fish hook
An open eye"

I believe it is meant as a personal experience, be it love or something else, that starts out beautiful and turns into something unkind or even brutal. I see the poem having meaning about the abuse of women, not necessarily physical. The poem is based on a metaphor. A hook and eye usually refers to a piece of hardware used to latch a door shut. Here, they reference a perfect fit. The hook is quickly turned into a weapon, and the open eye is vulnerable. The use of imagery “a hook into an open eye” creates a painful image in the readers mind which annoys the speaker in this poem. Atwood's tone may at first appear to be light and funny, but in the end it is sarcastic.

Feminism in the Art : Frida Kahlo

Self-trained Mexican artist
1907-1954
She refuses the male-dominant language of high art
worked in what has been called “dialect", which embraced the peripheries of “folk” art
Draw women’s body and her own direct experiences come into focus

What makes Frida feminist?

Most of her works are self-portraits which show an iconic figure of herself; strong, enduring, endlessly suffering, but beautiful. What her diaries reveal is a much less assured woman than her paintings suggest; a woman whose identity hinged on her relationship with her husband; a woman whose identity was shattered through the shattering of her body. Frida drew an underlying oppressive view of female sexuality. the dominance of her relationship with her husband in the representation of her self.
This picture left shows woman’s womb a baby inside. Frida expresses the strength of woman and their importance.

Feminism in the Arts - Film, painting & poem -

This picture tells that woman is the creature
who thinks about only marriage, baby, clothes
and chocolate.

Taming of Shrew

Taming of shrew is a story which created by Shakespeare. It is a comedy, however, many Faminist does not find think this story is a "Fanny story". It is because this story is partly about the status of women. The main characters in the story are Katherine and Petruchio. Katherine is a woman who is intelligent, and is not afraid to assert her views on any given situation. One day, Pertuchio who wants to be ritch appears and propose to Katherine. Consequentry, Katherine is "Tamed" and becomes ideal wife.

This story sounds like a male chauvinistic. Also, many people think that Petruchio is such a evil man, who did not let Kate to eat food nor sleep and trys to control her life. Yes, it may be true, however, when Kate was not allowed to eat, Patruchio did not eat. In order to keep her awake, he must has awaken all night. He had same pain at the same time when Kate did. Considering this fact, I can not criticize Petruchio.
